Yep yep yep, and boy was "he" ready to come down. Its been so weird, we both kind of forget that I am pregnant and will randomly exclaim....hey YOUR PREGNANT! I am 13 weeks along. It was planned so that I will graduate before the baby comes, but it ended up being a little too close for comfort to graduation. We thought it would take longer than 10 days off of birth control but....it didnt. We both graduate April 26 and the due date is May 16 so hopefully the baby will stay in. I'm sure "he" will be a great addition to graduation pictures. :)
I cant say its been the easiest pregnancy but it hasnt been as bad as others. I hate all food, and can smell everything a mile away, even the smell of peoples skin! I really dont like that part, I was quite happy in my ignorance of ALL the worlds smells. Especially here in pittsburgh, they have a lot of sewer outlets along our walk to campus and thats not even mentioning all of CIGARETTE SMOKERS!! Dont get me started on those. I have thrown up quite often...especially lately, but all of that would be fine. The worst part is that I have a terrible immune system all of a sudden and catch every cold that people feel like passing on to me. I have been sick with a cold 3 times now, each one lasting 2 weeks. I am currently working on my third, which as been the worst, first it was tonsils and then it progressed to unstoppable coughing which is prohibiting me from sleeping...I swear your body is really dumb when it comes to being pregnant..you should be being boosted to create this healthy robust baby and instead it sabbotages you and makes it where you cant eat, cant sleep and are sick all the time and cant taking anything for it. I cant wait till I have Cravings...and I will feel very jipped if I never get any!
On to better news....I GOT MY FIRST SNEAK PEAK! I went in last week for my monthly check up and they tried to check for the heart beat but couldnt find one (she found everything else inside me :) so she decided to take a little ultrasound!! IT was amazing...I really am pregnant. Its just a little tiny thing but you could see arms and legs and a head. I got to see it MOVE and you could see its heartbeat. That was the coolest thing ever, its crazy that it is inside of me! So the baby is healthy and the proper size, which was really comforting to hear. I gained 4 pounds in the first two months and then lost 6 in the 3rd month so I am out to try and stop being sick and gain some weight.
We've decided not to find out what it is, I have the actual ultrasound dec 15th. We want the DONG effect when it comes out, but were both really hoping for a boy.

Congrats! I definetly know how you feel. I am just glad its not me right now!
Congratulations Loni!!! How exciting! Just wait til you get to that ultrasound and they ask you if you want to know!! No way we could have waited!! The suspense would have killed me! I hope you feel better!
Yay!!! Congrats Loni--you will be a great mommy! Sorry to hear the pregnancy has been lousy thus far--I've heard once you hit your 2nd trimester things start to look up, of course, I wouldn't know from experience because I never had real pregnancy symptoms. I will send all of my "BOY" thoughts your way, because it seems that is all Skyler and I are capable of making!!!! :-) I can't believe you are going to wait to find out!! I could have never waited a full 40 weeks to know. In fact, my dr could tell I was having boys at my very FIRST ultrasound. Yes, the first. He found something between the legs on both Ethan and Teigan and said, "It's still probably too early to tell for sure, but you're having a boy!" Pregnancy is wonderful--enjoy this time!!
