Parry and Kyren

We finally bought an MTS file converter so that we can use our videos from our camcorder on the blog and Youtube. They were too high def to be used, hence why there have not been videos on here for a long time, but fear no more, there will now be videos. So these are the most current videos of Kyren, Parry and Jordan, I think I was recording all of them so I am not in any of them. Kyren is 16 months and Parry is 5 wks old, look how well he holds his head up. .

Random Kyren and Parry

These are just random videos of Kyren over the summer and some recently of him with Parry

Kyren's First Birthday

So here is Kyrens first birthday videos and pics, I feel bad that I never posted them way back on his birthday, and seeing how I use this as my surrogate journal I feel like I should even tho it is way past.

So for his birthday we decided to take him to his favorite place, the mall. We had been there once before and he loved climbing on all the stuff and it was great that it is all enclosed so that we could let him wander at his will. After that we came home and he took his afternoon nap. When he woke up we went swimming at the community pool, he LOVES swimming and always enjoys all the people. Back them he was just learning to kick his legs.

After swimming we came home, and it was around 7pm, I don't remember why anymore but for some reason I was unable to make his cake earlier that day and so I was trying to hurry and make his cake around 7:30pm. The cake was done....kind of....aruond 8 and kyren was really tired, but I really wanted him to have his first cake on his birthday....now that I think about it I probably should have just waited till the next day, its not like he knows what day is his birthday. So the cake got halfway finished...as far as the Fondant went, I had glorious plans of course but they got put on hold. So as you will see in the video, there is an ugly side of the cake. :)

He didnt like his cake anyway, which I was kinda sad about, I wanted those cute pictures of one year olds with frosting and cake smeared all over. (which was kinda an oversight with fondant....seing how it doesnt smear) Anyway it didnt matter cuz he wouldnt even eat it. I later tried a cupcake with real frosting on it to see if he would eat it, and he didn't he doesnt like frosting or cake....at least not yet anyway.

After cake we opened up a few presents. We had made this family picture book, and got him some hotwheels with a "Mack" truck that he can load them in. He actually liked them and 4 months later he Loves his hot wheels.

About Me

We are both students at the University of Pittsburgh in the Neuroscience program. We graduate April 26 2009!! Loni is 23 and Jordan is 24. Jordan would like to be a doctor in the Air Force...as a career and has just finished applying to medical schools. I am pregnant and ready to be a little mom. We are both way to ready to graduate. Jordan is working as the Tech guy for the University's Jazz band, which he loves. I am currently working as a computer consultant on campus...its a very easy job, very school friendly. Jordan is the Gospel principles teacher in our ward and I am the new second counselor in the Young womens, so I am over the Beehives. Jordan does great at his calling and loves to "vent", and I love mine, the beehives are awesome...definitely the best ones of the pick. On the side we are both landlords, which is turning out to be a cinch so far.
